Performance
The entry-level petrol powertrain is a turbocharged 1.5-litre unit with 169bhp and 275Nm of torque, which is enough for a 0-62mph time of 9.4 seconds. There's a choice of a six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Exterior Design
The boot capacity of New MG HS has grown to 507 litres further increasing to 1484 litres with the seats folded. The Power Tailgate feature is also available on the Trophy model.

Interior design
Due to the increase in dimensions compared to its predecessor, New MG HS creates a feeling of greater comfort and spaciousness. The Trophy model includes Dual Zone Auto Air Conditioning, Heated Front Seats and Black Leather Style Upholstery with Tan Leather Style Upholstery also available as an option.
